Newark Stern Glands are renowned for their simplicity and reliability with more than 15,000 having been supplied to ships worldwide. Three unique designs of glands are available with each design providing the optimal solution for installation and operation. The glands are of the axial sealing type, manufactured in non-ferrous material and suitable for shafts of 48 to 600mm diameter. Each design has its own individual designation of gland type to differentiate their characteristics.

They are suitable for both inboard and outboard sealing applications.

The Newark stern gland is equally effective for oil or grease lubricated shaftlines.
